<p>Liquid chromatography (LC) allows for selective and highly sensitive detection of trace and molecular-species specific compounds.  Common analytical techniques include HPLC, LCMS, LC/MS/MS and others.</p>
<p>Petrochemical lab services include serving natural gas, liquid hydrocarbon fractionation, oil and gas drilling, exploration and safety, along with oil producers.  Analysis of gasses like BTEX, natural gas, olefin, refinery gas, helium content and polymers, along with liquid analyses of BTEX, LPG and NGL products and purity products are conducted.</p>
<p>As a result of chemical and petrochemical testing, clients (manufacturers, scientists and engineers across multiple industries) solve quality issues, support research projects, trouble-shoot, mitigate risk and much more.</p>
<p>With volatile and semi-volatile organics, GC analysis is typically a less expensive alternative to GC/MS in cases where a sample is expected to contain pesticides, PCBs, herbicides, or other organic contaminants. GC&#8217;s are equipped with autosamplers and integrated into computer systems for accurate and efficient data output. GC analysis is routinely used to analyze drinking water, groundwater, wastewater, oils  and waste.</p>
<p>ICP-MS is a technique for the determination of trace elements in solution. Unlike atomic absorption spectroscopy, which can only measure a single element at a time ICP-MS has the capability to scan for all elements simultaneously. Collision/reaction cells are known under several trade names.</p>

<p>As time has progressed, due to limitations of urine immunoassays, and the relentless advances in analytical instrumentation, more progressive labs are using LC/MS/MS, following the lead of many lab sectors that entrust their data to LC/MS/MS. LC/MS/MS provides the ability to analyze a wider molecular weight and polarity range of compounds with better sensitivity, reduced sample preparation and no derivatization in less time. <p>One of the workhorses of many labs is the HPLC. High-performance liquid chromatography (also known as high-pressure liquid chromatography), is a chromatographic technique used to separate a mixture of compounds in analytical chemistry and biochemistry with the purpose of identifying, quantifying and purifying the individual components of the mixture. One common example is the separation and quantitation of performance enhancement drugs (e.g. steroids) in urine samples, or of vitamin D levels in serum.</p>
